Creating Promising Futures Through Social Construction
Please note: the application process involves two levels of review. First, the Taos Institute review committee determines if an applicant will be admitted to the Taos Ph.D. program. Second, each application is selected for possible admission into one of our collaborating Universities. The Taos review committee carefully aligns each student with the University that best fits the research proposal and where there is a University promoter who can support, guide, and supervise the dissertation project. It is important to remember that before being formally admitted to the Taos Ph.D. program, students must be accepted by the selected University. Once accepted, the student is instructed on further steps required by each university to register (procedures are slightly different at each participating university). A review of all academic credentials is required for those with non-Dutch or Belgian degrees prior to pursuing the Ph.D. This degree review is the first required step in the registration process at the university.
The first semester for all students begins with the Fall semester which starts September 1st.
