Charo is currently based in Barcelona, Spain where she works as a mediator, consultant and a professor at various universities and institutions. She is a specialist in community and organizational mediation, where she typically evaluates and applies different dialogue methods to better deal with the complexity of multiparty conflicts.

Charo also provides company and organization consulting services where the goal is to bring about organizational change based on appreciative thinking and the application of appreciative inquiry.

Appreciative thinking is the inspiration behind all her intervention work as she believes that only by appreciating human potential, an organization or community can generate the necessary change to overcome difficult situations and improve their capacity to innovate towards excellence

Charo is currently studying transformational coaching at the Gestalt Institute in Barcelona. She has lived in Australia, Germany and Spain.
