Cheri is an educational and organizational consultant specializing in collaboration.  She brings 25 years of experience in human development, experiential learning, and relational effectiveness to her present passion for innovation and excellence through Appreciative Inquiry and collaborative learning. Her passion is learning; her current curiosity is the development and facilitation of emergent practices; and her dream is to create a community collaboratory.

She has authored or co-authored numerous articles and books. In 1996 she co-designed and patented Mobile Team Challenge, an award winning, innovative portable low ropes course. In December of 2008 she will receive her Ph.D. in Collaborative Learning from the University of TN. She currently holds a Masters in Business Administration, a Masters in Transpersonal Psychology, Appreciative Inquiry certification from Case Western Reserve University , and level two certification in Spiral Dynamics Integral. She lives in Asheville , NC with her husband, Michael (a plant geneticist at Warren Wilson College ), and youngest daughter, Carmen. Email: Cheri.Torres@gmail.com
