The following presentation was created for the Taos Institute conference entitled “Collaborative and Dialogic Practices in Therapy and Social Change: Honouring the Past and Creating the Future,” held in Cancun, Mexico from April 22-24, 2010. This 13-minute presentation was part of the Opening for this conference.
With a wish to honour the contributions of 7 family therapists who have died “too soon,” this collection of photos and music hopefully conveys a respect for these persons “as persons.” They meant alot to many of us and through the generous photographic contributions of some who knew Tom Andersen, Insoo Kim Berg, Gianfranco Cecchin, Steve deShazer, Harry Goolishian, Paul Watzlawick, and Michael White, you are invited into “remembering”. . .
