Dan helps clients to successfully lead positive change and growth. With a wealth of over 25 years of experience, he brings energy, care and understanding to the complex challenges of human systems. His work interweaves a passion for the human spirit and a commitment to social justice and global sustainability with knowledge of economic value creation.

He works as the Managing Director of Jefferson Wells’ Great Lakes Region, leading a group with approximately 300 professionals. Jefferson Wells is a global provider of professional services with 50 offices worldwide. Since joining the firm and introducing appreciative inquiry and other social constructionist practice, his team moved from 12th place in profitability and 8th place in total revenues in 2004 to first place in both financial measures by 2007. Over the same period, his team reduced employee turnover from 32% in 2004 to 7% in 2007. Of the large offices in the firm, his team led in retention, employee engagement and client satisfaction. The team was awarded in 2005 the Manpower Global Power Award for Operational Excellence and for 2006 and 2007, the firm’s highest award, Office of the Year.

Dan serves on the faculty and Board of Advisors for the College of Management at Lawrence Technological University. Formerly, he was a partner at Deloitte where he led an innovative organizational learning practice called Strategic Risk and Control Consulting.

He holds a PhD in Organization Development from Benedictine University, an MBA from the University of Detroit and a BA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s program in International Organization and System Development and studied organizational learning at the MIT Organizational Learning Center.
