Dora is a psychologist, has a master degree in Family Therapy and a doctor degree conferred by Tilburg University. She is Principal Professor on the Faculty of Psychology in a public University. She has a long private practice as a psychotherapist and teaches and supervises in different private universities in Mexico. She is Co-founder of Kanankil Institute in Mérida, México. She has worked with collaborative and social constructionist ideas and reflexive processes for more than fifteen years. She is a member of Mexican Psychology Association, Mexican Family Therapy Association, Colegio de Psicólogos del Estado de Yucatán. She has been Post-graduate Programs Coordinator and Coordinator of External Service of Psychology Support (SEAP) in a public University, President of Colegio de Psicólogos del Estado de Yucatán, President and founder member of Family and Couples Therapist South-east Association, Merida, Mexico and member of the Interdisciplinary Committee for the evaluation of study plans, Government of Yucatán, Mexico. Lately Dora is developing a “Human Relationships Agency” that combine collaborative and social constructionist ideas with literature, art, teaching and research.
