Durante los últimos 16 años los autores han trabajado como equipo terapéutico con parejas y familias, y mantienen un espacio semanal donde comparten y reflexionan sobre sus lecturas y prácticas. En este espacio revisan su trabajo y escriben artículos. Jeannette Samper es miembro Asociado de Taos y es pionera en el campo de la Terapia Sistémica en Colombia. Es terapeuta, docente, entrenadora y supervisora. Adicionalmente es Co-directora del Certificado de Prácticas Colaborativas ofrecidas por el TAOS INSTITUTE , el GALVESTON INSTITUTE y SISTEMAS HUMANOS en Bogotá. José Antonio Garciandia MD, es médico psiquiatra, profesor titular en la Facultad de Medicina de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana y terapeuta Sistémico; autor de 2 libros (Pensar Sistémico y La Psicoterapia: Un Territorio Conversado). El nombre Etnia Terapéutica expresa la integración que de manera conjunta hacen terapeutas y consultantes al generar nuevos significados en sus encuentros.

Etnia Terapéutica: Integrando Entornos. This book synthesizes a part of the authors’ work both in therapy and supervision in a Latin American context. During the last 16 years they have worked as a therapeutic team doing conjoint couples and family therapy. They meet weekly to reflect on their work, exchange ideas and write articles. Jeannette Samper is a Taos Associate and a pioneer in the field of Systemic Therapy in Colombia. She is a therapist, teacher, trainer and supervisor and is Co- Director of the Certificate of Collaborative Practice offered by THE TAOS INSTITUTE, the GALVESTON INSTITUTE and SISTEMAS HUMANOS in Bogotá. She also teaches therapy in several post graduate therapy training programs throughout Colombia. José Antonio Garciandía, MD is a psychiatrist, professor of psychiatry at the the School of Medicine of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. He is a Systemic therapist and author of 2 books ( Pensar Sistémico & La Psicoterapia: Un Territorio Conversado ) The name Etnia Terapéutica expresses the integration and co-construction of meanings that are generated when therapists and clients come together in their conversational encounters.
