Imagine Chicago’s proven frameworks for inspiring community engagement will be taught by Bliss Browne, President of Imagine Chicago, who pioneered them. This is a highly interactive workshop where you will learn and apply effective strategies and tools for creating effective intergenerational partnerships ensuring reliably constructive experiences of difference attracting and including “hard to reach” populations strengthening public/private collaborations, including school community connections shifting (and helping others shift) from deficit-based to strength based mindsets and communications, including the use of Appreciative Inquiry accelerating civic imagination through the use of arts-based activities empowering citizen leadership of all ages

Each participant will receive a toolkit of practice examples, case studies and tools for Inspiring Community Change
including many examples of applying Appreciative Inquiry to community regeneration. Come learn and practice creative ways to elicit vision and hope, build on strengths, and inspire engagement and action.

Cost of $1000 per workshop includes training materials in electronic
format with permission to adapt them for use in other settings.
