Kasper Trolle Elmholdt, MSc in Organization Studies from Aarhus University, is PhD fellow at department of Marketing and Organization at Aarhus University. He is teaching bachelor and master students within the area of organization as communication, process consultancy and qualitative research methods.
In his dissertation he focuses on leadership development interventions inspired by social constructionism in Hospital settings. His research interest is how these development efforts gets translated and enacted at a micro level and further how consultants and clinical leaders co-produce new organizational realities through the use of discourse and various technologies and materials. Through an ethnographic inspired research style does he explore how leadership development interventions are translated, and how leadership is assembled as a matter of concern. He is drawing broadly on theoretical contributions within the area of social constructionism, actor-network-theory (ANT) and post-structuralism to study relational aspects of how practices and materials are assembled and interact in these development efforts.
