Lone Hersted is educated as an actress at the Nordic Theatre School (1993), and has obtained a Masters Degree in Dramaturgy at the Aarhus University (Denmark 2002). She has more than 10 years professional work experience within performance theatre production and interactive digital arts. She also has experienced working within and directing international cultural and theatre projects e.g. in Latin America.
In 2007 she was educated and certified as a systemic coach at Attractor (DK), and in 2010 she obtained a Certificate Degree in Systemic Leadership and Organizational Development at the University of Bedfordshire in collaboration with KCC (England).
Lone Hersted is currently working as a family therapist at Familieværksted Inter, belonging to the municipality of Aarhus, Denmark. Here she works with traumatized refugee families and their integration into the Danish society. Her therapeutic work is based on social constructionist ideas and narrative and appreciative inquiry.
Before this, she worked 6 years as a coach, consultant and a teacher. Besides her work as a family therapist she works with MacMann Berg (which is a systemic oriented consulting company offering leadership programs at Master and Diploma level). Here, she works particularly with leadership development, coaching, supervision innovative and creative change processes, dialogue training, conflict dissolution, and collaborative team development.
