In today’s society there is increasing focus on evaluation. Both in
the public and in the private sector terms as documentation of effect,
benchmarking and -learning, performance measurement, accreditation and
audit is becoming a part of everyday life in organizations. Often the
challenge is, that evaluation is a demand from an authority and not
initiated from within the organization. All to often evaluation is
conducted only to meet claims from authorities and not creating
development and supporting the organization in doing their job the best
possible way.
In the workshop “Innovative evaluation” we focus on how we can
create innovative evaluation that makes positive development possible
and is meaningful in practice. With a starting point in systemic theory
and practice combined with traditional evaluation paradigms we give
inspiration and ideas on how evaluation can support achieving the
future we desire instead of only measuring the past.
