Autobiographical story and literary production – Bakhtin and Dialogical Theory
Martin Glozman is a Licentiate in Literature. From the beginnings of his career he has been interested in the ways literature represents the real and the diverse contexts and mediations through which a deeper reality is possible (Bakhtin, Dostoievski). The real is not comprehended according to a specific theory but as “experienced reality” implying a challenge to representation (Benjamin).
Following these interests he participated as a fellow researcher in Russian literature and European 19th century literature courses at Universidad de Buenos Aires (2003-2008). He also taught Argentinean literature at Universidad de Belgrano, Argentina (2008-2011) and he is currently a professor in Writing at Universidad Nacional General Sarmiento, Argentina.
In 2010 Martin was convened by Fundación Interfas (Argentina) to teach Bakhtin’s dialogical theory and literary representations. He has been working and collaborating with these themes since then. He also completed an International Diploma in Dialogical Practices from Taos Institute, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Chile and Fundación Interfas, Argentina http://www.dialogosproductivos.net/ For this diploma he wrote the article “Relatos en primera persona. Construcción dialógica y legado” (“Narration in 1st person. Dialogical construction of sense and Legacy”) Edition in press, The Taos Institute and Red de Trabajo para Diálogos productivos.
Martin finds an orientation in the convergence between writing and the reflection about dialogism to approach the ways in which is possible to think about identity as a dynamic and polyphonic process. He explores the construction of autobiographical story from literary production. He published the books Salir del Ghetto (“To go out of the Ghetto”) ed. Tersites, 2011 and Help a mí (“Help to me”) ed. Milena Caserola, 2012.
He will be finishing an MA in Creative Writing in July 2015 at Universidad Nacional Tres de Febrero.
He works together as a team with his wife Elisa Petroni (Clinical psychologist, music and play therapist) with whom he shares the reflection about the ontology of resources’ production and meaning from artistic creation and dialogue.
