I live in Trondheim, Norway, and work as an Associate Professor at Buskerud University College and researcher at The Institute for Research in Mental Health and Substance Abuse at Buskerud University College. I also work as a Family Therapist and a Mediator at Trondheim Family Therapy Centre. In addition I teach family therapy and research methods at Diakonhjemmet University College, and as a supervisor in family therapy. I did my PhD-research in Norway on a collaborative learning project on how therapists learn new ideas and practices together. My research is mostly focused on collaborative action research, social constructionism, therapists’ personal and professional development, supervision, therapist education, family therapy, user involvement in research, clinical mental health work etc.
