Becky is a Psychologist graduated from the University of Guadalajara and have a Master’s degree in Psychology with a Sistemic Family Therapy specialization from the UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) which included 800 hours of lived supervision family therapy.
Since 2009, she began to work with postmodern approaches, and, along with her colleague and husband, start a welfare consulting space: ConSol (Construyamos Soluciones), in which they do individual, couple and family therapy working together as a reflective team, along with some occasional organizational counseling and private workshops. In 2010, they connect with the TAOS Network thanks to the group Campos Elíseos and the Kanankil Institute and begin to participate and collaborate in the events of the area.
In recent years, Becky had been working as a school psychologist with children and teenagers mainly, lately as part of a private school, but she also had experience in public high school and university. In these spaces, she does orientation functions like vocational orientation, conflict solutions between students and work with kids with disciplinary problems and low academic performance, for witch, she takes parents and teachers support.
She also worked with government institutions in mental health and prevention violence programs for vulnerable populations in the city and in rural areas. At the same time, in ConSol, they organize learning communities with small groups of different professional to share collaborative practices ideas in different topics as: death, love, appreciative inquiry, sacred movement, among others like cinematographic appreciation. The idea in these spaces is contribute to social change, personal wellness and to have conversational spaces to share experiences with people with similar philosophies in work and life in general.
