Peer Review Process Information
Anyone who wishes to propose a Poster or Paper session may use the form below. Please submit your proposal by August 31st (extended to Sept 30th) if you want to be included in the program and the program materials. Final papers are due by September 30th or upload in the form below.
Papers and Posters will be presented in an open forum space. There will be poster boards available to pin up your Poster. For the Paper presentations, this will be done in the same open forum space, but each Paper presenter will share a table with another Paper presenter, and will have copies of the paper available for those interested and will be available to talk with people who come by the talk with an interest in the paper. Neither one will have an official "presentation" to a group, but will be available to share, and talk about the presentation as people come by the session.
Both Paper and Poster presentations will be in a 1.5 hour open forum space and presenters should be available during that time.
*********************************************************Poster Session Presentation –This is a typical visual representation of a project, practice, inquiry, or case study that is posted on poster boards (size to be determined). These will be displayed during an afternoon at the conference. Poster presenters will be present at their posters the entire time, to share handouts, show a short video, talk with visitors, and answer questions. The Poster sessions will run for 1-2 hours during an afternoon break. Paper Session Presentation – The presenter will have copies of his/her paper available to participants. The papers will also need to be available for online sharing by October 1st. Presenters will be given a space during the poster presentations and a table in the area in which to have the paper available, give out the paper, and talk with participants who might come by the table to converse with the presenter. It is not a "presentation" to a group in a private room. The paper presenter will need to be present during the 1-2 hours of an afternoon to answer questions that participants might have regarding the paper.
As part of the Silver Jubilee: Taos Institute's 25th Anniversary and Conference – Celebrating 25 Years of Social Construction in Action Around the World, we invite you to submit a short paper that will be peer-reviewed by two TAOS Institute Associates. Click here for more information.
