Finn currently works as a systemic practice lead for a local authority in Cumbria, United Kingdom. Her work involves increasing awareness of relational approaches to pre-social care work with families. She previously worked as a nurse in the UK and in post-communist Romania before developing her own business while raising three children. More recently she began studying for a professional doctorate in systemic practice.

Finn’s research considers the emergence of a relational approach to the land beneath our feet within systemic practice. The question raises awareness of the loss of local dialect and language alongside local customs but more importantly a loss of relations with more-than-humans. Finn is seeking to learn alongside trans-material worlding, Indigenous scholarship and eco-feminist thinking.
