Ivet García Montero, is a Doctor of Higher Education, graduated from the Center for Research and Teaching in Humanities of the State of Morelos (CIDHEM, 2012) with Honorable Mention. She is also a Doctor in Psychology at the Center for Transdisciplinary Research in Psychology of the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (2020). She also has a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology (University of Havana, 1999) with Excellent evaluation and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (University of Havana, 1993, Gold Seal). She has a Diploma in Development of Reflective Thought and Creativity (Center for Psychological and Sociological Research; Havana, 1996) and a Certification in Cooperative Learning from Nova Southeastern University, Florida, United States (2016). She has an international Diploma in Generative Professional Perspective and Practice, with an online interactive modality, offered by the Interfas Foundation (Argentina) in collaboration with the Taos Institute (2018-2020). She has the Desirable Profile Recognition from the Professional Teaching Development Program of Mexico´s Secretary of Public Education (Programa para el Desarrollo Profesional Docente – PRODEP-2018)  , granted in 2018, and has been a Representative of the Academic Body Learning Processes and Teacher Training in Diversity at the National Pedagogical University, Morelos Unit since that same year.

She also has certifications in the area of ​​Conflict Management and Mediation granted by specialists from the Conflict Mediation Center of the University of Carlenton, Canada and by the Ser Paz Organization of Ecuador, she has completed numerous training courses in the fields of educational research and research methodology, learning problems, knowledge management and skills management, among others.

With more than 25 years of experience in the educational field, she has worked as a researcher and as an instructor in teacher training in countries such as Cuba, Colombia, Bolivia and Mexico. In the Mexican educational context, she has taught graduate courses and workshops and given lectures in the states of Guerrero, Hidalgo, Baja California, the State of Mexico, Tlaxcala, Morelos and in Mexico City.

In the last 20 years, she has worked in teaching at the upper secondary, higher and postgraduate levels, both at the Master’s and Doctorate levels. She is currently a full-time Professor at National Pedagogical University (UPN), Campus Ayala in the state of Morelos, where she has worked since 2011 and teaches at Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos UAEM and at private universities in the State of Morelos.

She has several publications on educational topics, both on books and scientific magazines.
