Burak Malkoc, Ph.D. is an independent consultant and researcher focusing on innovation performance and strategy execution. He accumulated international work experience in the manufacturing and service industries in the Middle East, Western Europe, and North America. His discovery of “constructionist” theory intrigued him to deepen his knowledge by completing his doctoral studies at the University of Denver, Daniel’s College of Business. Social capital and numerical analysis are two of his favorite research topics. He applies the constructionist approach to the existing literature on behavioral strategy and knowledge creation phenomenon to explore business and human capital outcomes. He published in Strategic Finance magazine, and his most recent paper will be presented with co-authors at the Strategic Management Society’s annual conference in London. A native of Istanbul, Burak speaks Turkish, French, and Spanish fluently and has been raising his two children with his wife of 30 years, Emy, in Colorado.
