Dr. Beth Meriam is a Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring Expert and an award-winning cultural specialist (PhD Cambridge) who brings a refreshingly different approach to the much-studied art and practice of leadership. Described as ‘no ordinary coach’ by her clients, Beth’s gift is to help visionary leaders and pioneering organizations make the higher-order connections that are the source and gateway to breakthrough solutions and amazing new potential.

Her interventions help CEOs, senior leaders and top teams cut through external noise and chaos and discover and develop their own mastery. Clients learn how to get off the leadership rollercoaster of overwork, overwhelm and stress and to lead with unforgettable authenticity, presence, gravitas and confidence—even while navigating high-stakes, complex and seemingly ‘impossible’ challenges. Clients describe her contributions as ‘paradigm shifting’, ‘genuinely life-changing’ and say they ‘take things to a whole new level’.

Beth’s work springs from, and is nourished and informed by, a unique life history that has been an immersive global quest to discover the keys to unlocking our highest human possibilities. Extended periods have been spent working with world-leading CEOs and senior leaders, cutting-edge academic and business luminaries, and global thought leaders, as well as refugees, street children, orphans, dying and destitute women (for example in Mother Teresa’s Home in Kolkata), and many other remarkable people.

Such uniquely rich and diverse experiences, often in isolated, far-flung locations (from Afghanistan to Zanskar, the Sahara to Siberia and from glacial Himalayan peaks to tropical Caribbean ocean depths) highlighted how Western societies have normalised an impoverished and disconnected way of functioning. Her skilled and dedicated accompaniment facilitates the restoration of a deeper natural state of confidence and security, which enables talented, well-intentioned leaders to thrive, even amidst complexity, conflict and change.

Selected client engagements include the World Bank, UK Government Home Office, Unilever, SWIFT, Telefónica, UNESCO, Airbnb, BNP Paribas, Randstad and leading global business schools and Universities (Cambridge, IMD, Columbia, ESADE). Beth is an approved Windsor Leadership Facilitator-Coach, a Henley Business School Executive Development Associate and, at the personal invitation of Professor Stephen Porges, forms part of the Traumatic Stress Research Consortium.

Beth’s contributions have received numerous prestigious accolades, including Cambridge ‘Honorary Student’, The James Littlejohn Prize and 14 education, social responsibility and enterprise awards.
