"Supervising" in Private, University and Public Agency Settings from a Social Construction/Postmodern Perspective

Dynamic intensive didactic and interactive workshops based in social construction and postmodern assumptions. Learn how to create, facilitate and sustain a collaborative learning community. Workshops provide participants the opportunity to learn, network with other supervisors, and create knowledge and expertise with each other.

The format is designed to create a collaborative learning community culture in which learning is a relational activity. Components of the workshops include didactic, demonstration consultations/supervisions, reflecting processes, experiential exercises, large and small group discussions, literature review, and assignments to enhance and sustain learning.

Who Should Attend:
The workshops are designed for and will benefit experienced supervisors as well as for those new to supervising.

Certificate and Continuing Education:
A certificate will be issued upon workshop completion. The workshop qualifies for the required AAMFT course for approved supervisors. The workshop provides 40 continuing education hours.
