Cultivating Strengths Through Appreciative Inquiry | Feb. 24-25

Fri, February 24, 2012

Location: Washington, D.C.
Faculty: Claire Fialkov and David Haddad

Description:
This workshop draws upon the foundations of Positive Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry. Positive psychology is the study of what makes life most worth living, by emphasizing the positive emotions, thought patterns, and relationships that contribute to human flourishing. Appreciative Inquiry asks questions about what we value and want more of in ourselves, in our relationships and in our communities. Join leading-edge practitioners and consultants to explore the theory and practice of this cutting edge approach to organizational change, professional and personal development. This workshop uses the VIA Survey of Character to help you assess and appreciate your character strengths and explore how they can enrich your personal and professional life. When your strengths are acknowledged, you will feel more connected, enlivened and empowered. This workshop fulfills an elective requirement for the Appreciative Inquiry and Practice of Positive Change Certificate Program.
