Co-founder of Grupo Campos Eliseos, an independent Institute in Mexico City affiliated to the Houston Galveston Institute. GCE is dedicated to training, consultation and supervision from a postmodern and social constructionist approach. www.grupocamposeliseos.org
Elena trained at the Mental Research Institute (M.R.I), Palo Alto, California, where she studied under Paul Watzlavick, John Weakland and Richard Fisch and did her externships in Family Therapy, Brief Therapy  and Eating Disorders. With more than twenty years of clinical experience that included Gestalt and Bioenergetic therapy, Elena has transformed her practice giving to it a post-modern and collaborative twist. She is part of the Faculty at the Houston Galveston Institute. Recently Elena has been interested in ways of integrating art and Positive Psychology. She has finished her Ph.D. courses and her dissertation -a novel about writing as a therapeutic tool- is in the last revision.
