About the Authors:
Natasha A Rascon, PhD, is an instructor of Communication at Indiana State University. Her research interests include utilizing CMM in a variety of contexts, including community engagement and health care. Rascon was invited to ask good questions and explore CMM as an undergraduate student. She furthered her knowledge as a Master's student and utilized CMM in her doctoral dissertation. Since 2008, she has embodied a CMM worldview and sees the world as a CMMer.  

Stephen Littlejohn, PhD, is an emeritus professor of communication at Humboldt State University and emeritus lecturer of communication and journalism at the University of New Mexico. He has written extensively about communication theory, conflict, and communication. Stephen was an early contributor to CMM and has applied the theory to his work for nearly 40 years.
