Sara Manisco Chapo (she/her/hers), LICSW-NH, LCSW-TX, Licensed psychotherapist with 7+ years of clinical experience, trained in evidence-based practices focusing on systemic therapy, intergenerational trauma, and attachment issues. Seeking to be simultaneously active with social justice and systemic change, the past 7+ years also involved assisting in research at the University of New Hampshire, co-authoring different articles, participating in systemic change with the Association of Social Work Boards, and teaching at Southern New Hampshire University, among other things. Trained as a Social Justice Educator at UNH, periodically works as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Family Therapy and the Journal of Systemic Practice. Her involvement with The Taos Institute and social constructionism gave her the opportunity to deepen and appreciate even further the process of creating meaning in a collaborative setting. Has been part of various projects within the Taos Institute, including as a member of the Taos Institute Associates Council and of committees. Thrives in collaborative spaces, intellectually stimulating environments, and places that foster diversity, learning, and personal and professional growth.
