Irma is on the faculty at Grupo Campos Eliseos a free standing institute in Mexico City, affiliated with the Houston Galveston Institute and dedicated to training, consultation and supervision through a postmodern and social constructionist approach.www.grupocamposeliseos.org
She is also on the faculty at Houston Galveston Institute.
Her professional affiliations include The Mexican Associaton of Marriage and Family Therapy, The Mexican Council of Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a guest faculty member at a number of University in Mexico including: Universidad de las Americas in Mexico City, Universidad del Mayab in Merida Yucatan, Universidad de Guanajuato in Leon, Guanajuato and our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas.
Irma's passion and commitment for community work led her to co-found and direct the Centro de Atención a la Comunidad Palo Solo IAP, a Community Mental Health Clinic sited in a Montessori School in a suburban area in Mexico City. (www.palosolo.org.mx) Irma's energy has made the Centro into a place where community members (children and their families) and school teachers can explore and continually create collaborative and dialogic approaches to life and work.
