Kevin is Registered Marriage and Family Therapist and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.  His career has been focused in child and youth mental health serving in various capacities including child and family therapist, clinical supervisor, clinical and executive director roles.  Kevin has also consulted to organizations in Canada and the United States and delivered training with diverse professional groups in the practice of solution focused brief therapy.  At present, he is employed as the Executive Director of a community-based children’s mental health centre located in eastern Ontario, Canada.   

After earning an undergraduate degree in social work, Kevin spent several years working in child welfare before earning an MSc in Marriage and Family Therapy.   Subsequently he earned an MBA before pursuing a PhD at Tilburg.  His research interests are focused upon interdisciplinary healthcare innovation.  More specifically, his research interests include the negotiation of meaning  in relationships and change practices in couples, families therapies as well as systems change in the delivery of health services.
