Kyriaki Polychroni is a psychologist, group and Family Therapist, trainer and supervisor and a senior staff member of the Athenian Institute of Anthropos. She has contributed to a number of organizations and associations both on the national and international level. Founding Member of EFTA and, currently, General Secretary of its Training Institutes’ Chamber (EFTA-TIC). Founding Member of the American National Registry of Certified Group Psychotherapists (CGP) and a long standing Clinical Member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA).  Member of the Executive Council of the Association of Greek Psychologists (1984-1988). Founding Member of the Hellenic Association of Systemic Therapy.

Kyriaki Polychroni has conducted workshops in centers throughout Greece , in other European countries (western, eastern and previous Ballkan region) and in Canada . She is renowned for setting-up experiential education programs within the school context aimed at sensitizing adolescents to family dynamics and at developing their skills in creative life orientation.  She trains and supervises psychologists and teachers in the area of Prevention in the School System. Her special interest is on Socio-cultural change influencing family functioning, particularly families with adolescent members. Kyriaki is married for 25 years to Dr. Petros Polychronis with whom she has two adolescent daughters.
