Lennart Lorås, D.Sys.Psych is a clinical social worker with a master degree in Family Therapy and Systemic Practice from Diakonhjemmet University College, Norway and a doctoral degree in Systemic Psychotherapy at Tavistock Clinic/East London University, UK. His research concerned experienced systemic family therapists practice, working with families in child and adolescent mental health. Name of the research project is: “The Map of Competences in Systemic Therapy”. Lorås also has many years of experience from Norwegian child and adolescent mental health and works and research from a social constructionist epistemology and post systemic ideas. Lennart Lorås work full time as Associate Professor at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) in Bergen, Norway and part time as Associate Professor at the master program in family therapy and systemic practice at VID Specialized University (Diakonhjemmet) in Oslo, Norway. Lorås is also a board member of the Norwegian Association of Family Therapy (NFFT).
Lorås is widely holding supervision groups and lecturing related to systemic therapy and social constructionistic ideas.
