Jessica
is a clinical psychologist and Ph.D. Candidate in “Social Sciences:
Interactions, Communication and Cultural Constructions” at the
University of Padua. She is also concluding her training in the
Interactionist School of Psychotherapy in Padua.
Her main
interests concern the processes of identity construction and the
dynamics of change in psychotherapy and in public health services, the
relations between gender, body and sexuality, the epistemological
reflection and its implications in the social sciences and in psychology
and qualitative methods.
From the perspectives of social
constructionism and symbolic interactionism, she is now working on
transgender identities and psychological practices in gender
transitions, on the experiences of hearing voices and in juridical
psychology.
