Marina Everri is an Italian postdoctoral scholar in social psychology. She fell in love with systems theory and social constructionism almost ten years ago, when she started to collaborate with Laura Fruggeri at the University of Parma, Italy. Since then she had addressed her research interests toward the understanding of interpersonal relations and communication processes, especially how they are constructed, transformed and maintained in contemporary families’ everyday life. She is keen on integrative and transdisciplinary research methods, especially qualitative and observational methods, she could perfectionate through the collaboration with anthropologists and linguists at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and Berkeley (UCB), where she has recently been as visiting scholar. She also has a private practice as family therapist.
