Nina Vasconcelos Guimarães is a Psychologist, family psychotherapist. Director and Supervisor of Humanitas Institute of intervention and research of Human Systems. She has a Masters in Family in Contemporary Society UCSal (BA) and Professional Enhancement in Kensington Consultation Center (UK), Centro Milanese di Terapia Familiare (Milan) e Accademia di Psicoterapia della Famiglia (Rome). Nina is a founding partner of ABRATEF (Brazilian Association of Family Therapy where she works with individual, couples and family therapy and coordinates supervisior groups in pos-modernist practicies.

She is an organizer and co-author of the book Authority and Autonomy in Liquids Times: systemic theory in contemporaneity (Ophicina de Arte & Prosa, MG, 2014), and author of Death, Rebirthing and Honor (Mondrondo, 2016). Also, Nina has publications in individual systemic therapy, death and narrative practices.
