Roxana Zevallos was born in Peru. She is a Clinical Psychologist, graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, lived in Argentina for 5 years while doing her training on family therapy. She has a Master Degree on Family Issues from the Universidad del Salvador in Argentina.

She and Nelly Chong are the co-founders and Directors of IFASIL, the first Institution in Lima (Peru) doing the training program in family therapy for the last 29 years. More than 300 professionals have been trained by Ifasil and now working in different places such as hospitals, universities, schools, community services, etc.

She is currently a professor at Universidad de Lima, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru and Universidad Femenina in Lima.

She was elected three times as a board member of IFTA. Also the founder and first president of ASISPE (Peruvian Systemic Association).

For the last  30 years she has been working as a family and couples’ psychotherapist and as a professor at different universities in Peru as well as in Ecuador and Argentina.

She presents her work in national and international conferences and workshops, has published in national and international journals. Is also member of the editorial board of family therapy magazine: De Familias y Terapias from Chile.
