Jim Wilson is a UKCP registered Systemic Psychotherapist. He works part time with Llwyn Onn Child and Family Psychology Service in Caerleon, South Wales UK. He has practised as a therapist for over thirty years and is past Chairperson of The Family Institute Cardiff (now at the University of South Wales) and the Centre For Child Focused Practice at the Institute of Family Therapy London.
He is author of books and articles on Family Therapy and his most recent publication entitled “Creativity in Times of Constraint; a practitioner’s companion in Mental Health and Social care” will be published this year by Karnac. He is a teacher supervisor and consultant to Mental Health and Social Care services in the UK Europe and South America. His publications are widely used in training course in family therapy and related profession.
Jim lives in Newport and originally hails from Glasgow.
