Development is Ewa’s great motivator. She believes in new forms of managing and leading organizations with clearer purpose, self-leadership, distributed decision-making, more co-operation and collective, creative learning. She believes in healthier and more human organizations where people do well and become the best version of themselves.

She works with leadership and management development, vision and value processes, strategic and cultural transformations, change management, conflict resolution, coaching and knowledge management.

There are three essential and interdependent elements in her quest to develop organizations, teams and individuals: Relationships, Communication and Leadership. We develop relationships through communication and communication in turn shapes our relations. Our relations and communication create, re-create and develop our ability to lead ourselves in relation to others. We need more of leader and leadership is co-created with the those who want to follow.

Ewa is a trained therapist, mental trainer and EMCC accredited systemic coach.

Since September 2018, Ewa works with leadership development at Swedish Customs. She also works part time at Linköping University. Previously she worked as a management consultant for about ten years in different organisational contexts: Sonder, Ramböll Management and Nordisk Kommunikation. She has also been Program Director at Ruter Dam.

Earlier in her career, she worked as a program manager and lecturer at International Business School in Jönköping. She taught in knowledge management, organizational learning, project management, change management and organizational development. She finished her Ph D in year 2004 at Linköping University and her research was concerned with knowledge management, organizational learning and communication in organizations. The title of her Ph D dissertation is Knowledge demanded for action – Studies on Knowledge Mediation in Organisations. Ewa’s licentiate thesis is in Swedish with the title Organisationers kunskapsverksamheter (in English: Organisations’ knowledge practices).

Ewa has published a book – I motgång kliver ledaren fram (Liber, 2010) – on leadership (in English: In adversity, the leader steps forward) and writes articles on leadership and communication on a website called Motivation.se (see www.motivation.se).
