Mauro Piccinin is a psychologist and a family therapist.

He currently lives in Milan and he carries out his activity mostly in Milan, Varese, Torino.

He specialized according to the Milan Approach by Luigi Boscolo and Gianfranco Cecchin (www.cmtf.it) after graduating in Clinical Psychology at the University of Padova.

He is currently a trainer and a teacher at the Tourin branch of the Milan Centre (www.associazioneculturaleepisteme.com) where he is responsible for teaching the Milan Model applied to family psychotherapy, couple and individual contexts such as those on child protection.

He works as a family, couple and individual psychotherapist, and he collaborates with various institutions dealing with Child Protection. In particular, he is the supervisor of the Psychological Service of the Social Service for Child Abuse of the City of Monza (www.comunitamonzabrianza.it). He also works with the Social Service and Foster Care Program in the town of Desio (www.consorziodesiobrianza.it).

He has worked for years with adolescents with relational issues and conducts problems and as a supervisor for various professionals in the field of social health.

He is mainly interested in the Collaborative Practices within the juvenile, especially in situations of child abuse.

He is developing the theme of therapeutic relationship according to a systemic and social constructionist view.

He is a member of the editorial staff of Connections, the magazine of the Centro Milanese di Terapia della Famiglia.
